Quiko® Rusk – Keeps concentrates and rearing feeds loose and fresh

Quiko® Rusk is a special food supplement for ornamental birds. It contains specially baked wheat which, due to its high moisture-absorbing capacity, is extremely suitable for keeping egg food loose and fresh, making it less susceptible to spoilage or mold formation. At the same time, Quiko® Rusk improves the structure of the eggfood, so that it will be better eaten down to the last crumb.

Quiko® Rusk provides a good balance in the diet and stimulates the appetite of the birds. Quiko® Rusk is also very suitable for mixing vitamins, medicines or dyes into the feed as required.

NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS, WHY?

When birds are offered a varied palette of feed and nutritional supplements, the eating behavior of the birds improves considerably. Adult birds feed the young birds more often and their appetite increases significantly. That is why we recommend regularly alternating supplementary food such as Quiko® Rusk, boiled egg, fresh fruit and vegetables or germ food.

EASY PREPARATION :

• Fill a suitable container or bowl with 1 part Quiko® Rusk and 1 part water

• Soak Quiko® Rusk for approx. 5 minutes until the water is completely absorbed

• Add the moist Quiko® Rusk to the rearing food: 4 parts rearing food and 1 part Quiko® Rusk

• Stir this until evenly mixed

FINALLY:

The prepared rearing food can be given as a supplement to the daily food. Larger quantities can easily be frozen in portions and thawed as needed. Note: Quiko® Rust should definitely not be fed dry!

 

Quiko® Rusk is excellent for administering medicines easily in case of illness.
